Klára Nademlýnská

Klara is a passionate fashion designer who learned the basics of her trade in Prague’s Secondary School of Fashion Design and Manufacture. Between 1989-1997 she worked in Paris as a designer and pattern modeller in the luxury “pret-a- porter”.

In 1998 she launched her line and opened her author´s shop in Prague designed by OlgojChorchoj.

The characteristic signature of Klara Nademlynska’s collections are a clean style line, high class materials, a styled combination of tailoring and feminity with details and hand made finishing. Her inspiration often comes from folklor embroideries, tye-die blue prints and soft laces. All the collections are made in limited editions.

Since 2001 the “muse“ of Klara´s collections is Tereza Maxova.

In 2005, Klara launched the first pieces of her jewellery line of necklases inspired by Amulletes and old Toys.

There are lot of celebrities wearing Klara Nademlynska clothes – Tereza Maxova, Tatiana Gregor Brzobohata, tennis player Petra Kvitova, actress Anna Geislerova, singers Tonya Graves, Leona Machalkova and many others.

Klara acts as a designer on numerous projects including “Dancing with the stars“ for Czech Television as well as she was working exclusively on a part of the collection for label Pietro Filipi for several seasons.

She also participates on charity projects including the Foundation of Tereza Maxova, the Šance“ Foundation in Olomouc and the VIA Foundation in Prague.

Part of her collection “Cosmos“ created for Expo 2010 in Shanghai, features in the Museum of Decorative Arts in Prague. Klara is a regular participant at fashion events like Designblok, Mercedes Benz Prague Fashion Week and private show-rooms in Prague and abroad.
